Polypack offers handload and high-speed shrink bundler options for beverage packaging applications. These shrink wrap machines are designed to bundle bottles and cans into secure, retail-ready multipacks while supporting a range of production speeds, pack styles, and operational needs.
Printed Shrink Film for Beverage Multipacks
Print registration allows for the exact placement of graphics on a shrink wrapped beverage pack. Photo eyes detect the presence of an “I-Spot” and initiate separation of the film so that each piece of film is applied to the products at the same location every time. Printed shrink wrap film continues to make headway into all industries, especially for point-of-sale retail environments. Polypack's Clearprint Machine offers equipment that can run print registered, random printed, and clear film all on the same machine.

Corrugated trays offer pack support and help keep the rows of product properly aligned. Tray and shrink packs represent up to 50% in cost savings when compared to traditional RSC’s. Polypack offers tray loader and former machines, as well as tray wrapping equipment. Our tray loader formers and beverage packaging shrink wrappers can be combined to create packs that are both distribution and retail-ready.

The Polypack Unwrapper machine is a new-to-market, automatic unpackaging solution designed to help copackers and producers automate their lines and avoid common occupational safety hazards incurred when workers unwrap bundles by hand with open blades. Upon exiting the Polypack Unwrapper machine, product is film-free and ready for the next step in the multi packing process.
Pad-Supported Shrink Bundles for Stacking and Palletizing
Pads are typically used in order to prevent products from chiming or cutting through the shrink film during stacking and palletizing. Polypack offers pad feeding modules on several different beverage packaging machine types. We can also provide pad-support combined with printed film to create a retail ready pack that can easily stand up to the rigors of the distribution channel.
MINI SPIRITS BOTTLES
Polypack offers shrink wrap machines specifically suited for bundling mini spirits bottles (50 mL airline-size liquor bottles) with the compact, high-speed Pharma Series. Designed for small, lightweight glass or plastic bottles, this shrink bundling system creates stable multipacks. Its small footprint and high output make it ideal for distilleries and co-packers packaging mini liquor bottles.
ALUMINUM BEVERAGE CANS & CRAFT BEER MULTIPACKS
Polypack manufactures shrink wrap machines designed for breweries packaging 3-packs and multipacks of large aluminum cans, including 16 oz tallboys, 19.2 oz stovepipe cans, and 24 oz king cans. The Polypack Clearprint Series supports print-registered shrink film, allowing breweries to create high-impact, fully branded multipacks that improve shelf appeal without the need for cartons or trays.

Nested Pack® Offset Collation for Strong, Dense Pack
Polypack has a patented offset packaging system to intentionally "nest" round products into predetermined geometric shapes on our Clearprint machines. Since the products are pre-nested in the shrink wrap process, there is no room for the products to shift during handling. The resulting Nested Pack® is an extremely strong, super dense pack that completely eliminates the need for trays or pads. This amounts to HUGE Savings in material costs.
Cartons aseptiques
Aseptic bricks for beverages are most often sold in mutlipack format. Polypack designs and builds shrink wrap equipment for these aseptic cartons. Tetra bricks can be shrink wrapped in total closure at high speed in continuous motion. Combined with a high clarity polyolefin film, these multipacks have a high aesthetic appeal and are ready for the retail shelf.
Cartons à pignon
Polypack's system for creating palletizable gable top multipacks uses vertical risers to provide the support needed for stacking and palletizing. As the products are collated, a vertical riser is inserted between the rows of cartons. The collated products are then shrink wrapped, resulting in a gable top multipack that can be stacked and palletized without using milk crates!

Label Orientation is popular in clear film multipack applications, particularly in Club Store retail packs. It allows the branding of each individual product to engage the customer head on. Label Orientation is also beneficial when products must have printed expiration dates or codes added to pre-existing graphics. Polypack offers stand-alone label orientation systems, or we can integrate a label orientation module into a shrink wrap system for a complete solution.
